Me: Scott “Scotty” Castle. I developed this blog as an extension of my Instagram page with the goal of encouraging, promoting and inspiring healthy lifestyles. I share my daily experiences while offering; fitness and health advice, motivation to get outdoors, and customized workouts/exercise routines.
For as long as I can remember, I have always taken pride in becoming what I like to call an “Active Life Practitioner”.
In short, I strive to continuously enhance my knowledge/skill-base surrounding health, fitness and everything active. I am a strong believer that daily exercise, outdoor activities and interacting with dogs, have an enormous effect in our overall mental, emotionally and physical health.

Background: I grew up in Skaneateles, NY, a small lake town outside of Syracuse, NY known for its crystal clear water. I have three younger brothers and one younger sister. I played lacrosse in college and acted as the Strength and Conditioning/Assistant Lacrosse Coach while in graduate school.
